Announcement time, announcement time! Sound the horn and alert the village!
We are excited to announce that we are working with Planar® – the world’s premier display provider. With the help of the global organization, Daphne has new life in one of its Planar® LookThru™ Transparent OLED Displays (the acronym stands for “organic light-emitting diode”). And believe us when we tell you that she looks amazing on them! Just watch this and see for yourself™!
To recap a few of Daphne’s features:
- She is a conversational AI that speaks over a hundred languages including American Sign Language.
- She offers a 100% touchless experience, whether it be via QR code or your voice.
- She shows real-time analytics that can be stored in the cloud.
Using Planar® technology, we were able to provide a demo proof-of-concept to the Arizona State University (ASU) Thunderbird School of Global Management. But what’s the purpose of simply putting Daphne on a fancy new screen? Is that even an upgrade? It is, and we’ll tell you why via three bullet points:
- It’s a holographic without the projector! Normally, projectors are notorious for overheating and their projections tend to “wash out” in bright environments which makes them hard to see and look ugly. Not anymore, though. LookThru™ Transparent OLED Displays allow Daphne to look as beautiful as the day we made her - vivid and vibrant!
- The virtually frameless glass design and wide viewing angles give Daphne both freedom of movement and freedom of expression. This combined with the PRSONAS Digital Personality Engine™ gives her the chance to show off her charm and wit!
- Cool factor – these features allow Daphne to provide an authentic human experience. You may be talking to what you may think is simply a hologram with a fun personality, but you’re actually interacting with our globally recognized digital assistant!
